A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Conclusion of Contract<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

  1. The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather a non-binding online catalog.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. By clicking the “Place Order” button (or a similarly labeled button), you place a binding order for the items in your shopping cart.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Confirmation of receipt of your order follows immediately after you submit the order via an automated email (order confirmation). The purchase contract is concluded with this email confirmation. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    3. Prices and Shipping Costs<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    1. The prices stated on the product pages include statutory VAT and other price components.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. In addition to the stated prices, I charge shipping and packaging costs for delivery. The exact flat-rate shipping costs will be clearly displayed in your shopping cart and on the order page before you place your binding order. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. For purely digital content (e.g., PDF knitting patterns via download), no shipping or packaging costs apply.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      4. Delivery Terms and Provision of Digital Content<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      1. Physical goods are delivered within Germany, to the European Union (EU), as well as to Switzerland and the United Kingdom.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Unless otherwise stated for the product, the delivery time for finished physical goods within Germany is 3 to 5 business days after receipt of payment. For international shipping, the delivery time may be extended accordingly. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. For products that are custom-made to customer specifications (custom orders), the delivery time is based on individual agreement or the information provided on the respective product page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Digital content (e.g., PDF knitting patterns) will be made available to you in PDF format directly after successful receipt of payment in your customer account and via a download link in the order confirmation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. I am entitled to make partial deliveries, provided this is reasonable for you. You will not incur any additional shipping costs as a result. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        5. Payment Terms<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

        Payment is made via the payment methods offered during the ordering process (processed through the payment service provider Stripe, e.g., credit card, Giropay, or other common methods). I reserve the right to exclude certain payment methods in individual cases. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        6. Retention of Title<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

        The delivered physical goods remain the property of MEEMEA\u00ae Designs until payment is made in full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        7. Usage Rights for Digital Content (Knitting Patterns)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

        1. The digital knitting patterns purchased through the online shop are protected by copyright.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. With your purchase, you receive a simple, non-transferable right to use the pattern for personal, private purposes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. It is expressly prohibited to reproduce, distribute, resell, upload to the internet, or use the patterns (or parts thereof) for commercial purposes (e.g., selling knitted items made from the pattern on a commercial basis), unless you have express written permission from MEEMEA\u00ae Designs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          8. Warranty, Material Properties, and Allergy Information<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

          1. Statutory warranty rights apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. Since the physical products are handmade individual pieces made from natural fibers, minor material-related irregularities, minimal color variations (e.g., due to different dye lots of yarn or screen displays), and minor handwork-related deviations in measurements and weight specifications (tolerances of up to 5%) do not constitute a defect.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. Allergy information:<\/strong>
            My physical products are made from high-quality animal natural fibers (e.g., mohair, alpaca, cashmere) and\/or plant fibers (e.g., cotton). If you have known sensitivities or contact allergies to these natural materials, you wear them at your own risk. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
          4. Care instructions:<\/strong>
            I accept no liability for damage caused by improper cleaning, care (e.g., wrong detergent, machine washing instead of hand washing), or incorrect storage of natural fibers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          5. In the event of a withdrawal, the goods must be returned unworn, clean, and undamaged. For deterioration of the goods resulting from improper handling (e.g., stains, odors such as perfume or smoke, animal hair, damage to fibers), I expressly reserve the right to claim compensation for loss of value. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
          6. I am fully liable for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health that are based on intentional or negligent breach of duty, as well as for other damages based on intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty or fraud.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            9. Dispute Resolution<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

            The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), which you can find at https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/consumers\/odr\/<\/a>. I am neither obligated nor willing to participate in dispute resolution procee<\/sup>dings before a consumer arbitration board. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            10. Final Provisions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

            1. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2.
